OBITUARY: Robert Monroe Shelton

Robert Monroe Shelton, age 66 of Charlotte, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Mr. Shelton was born on January 26, 1956, in Wayne, Michigan. Mr. Shelton loved to fish, watch old western movies, and listen to classic country music. Survivors: Wife: Clara Sue Shelton of Charlotte, TN Son: Robert Dewayne Shelton of Lyles, TN Daughters: Angela Shelton of Greenville, TN Kelly Shelton of Charlotte, TN Tammy Weaver (Tony) of Dickson, TN Teresa Shelton (Gerald Ducharme) of Dickson, TN Sister: Peggy Chapel of Vanleer, TN Grandchildren: Emily Johnson (David), Allison Harris, Sara Harris, Tiffany Weaver, Tyler Weaver, & Jayden Ducharme Preceded in Death By: Parents: Monroe Carl & Lucy Mae Spann Shelton Sister: Janet Hasley Visitation will be held from 11-8 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, and from 10 a.m. until time-of-service Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Service for Mr. Shelton will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2022, from the Chapel of the Spann Funeral Home.
