OBITUARY: Ethel Mae Jones

Mrs. Ethel Mae Jones, age 73 of Dickson, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. Mrs. Jones was born September 26, 1949 in Chickamauga, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Alfred Leon Hinton and Jessie Lee Davis Hogan. She worked as a certified nurse’s assistant for over 30 years in Middletown, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jones Jr.; and her sister, Cathryn Faye Hinton. Mrs. Ethel Jones is survived by her siblings, Elsie Bell, Robert (Janis) Hinton, Ernestine Horner, Anthony Hinton, and Jessie M. Hughes. Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the East Dickson Cemetery.
