OBITUARY: Helen Laverne Huggins

Helen Laverne Huggins of Dickson, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, she was 88 years old. Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late Theodore “Ted” and Estelle Young DeBusk and was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Juggins; her great-granddaughter, Carley Grove; her grandson-in-law, TJ Pass. Helen had worked as a CNA for the former Green Valley Nursing Home but her favorite job was being a Homemaker. She was a member of Walnut St. Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Mathis (Wayne) of Dickson, TN, Terri Williams (Danny) of Dickson, TN; sisters. Mary Elizabeth Russell of Tucker, GA, Erma Elaine Spears of Kingston Springs, TN; 8 grandchildren, Michael Mathis, Amy Perkins (Jamie), David Mathis, Leah Peeler (Eric), Bekah Pass, Kyle Mathis, Nathaniel Mathis, Annie Mathis; 8 great-grandchildren, Molly Peeler, Owen Peeler, Graham Peeler, Griffin Pass, Hudson Pass, Evan Pass, Josiah Perkins, Malacki Mathis. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
