OBITUARY: Donald Lee Warf

Donald Lee Warf, age 88, of Dickson, Tennessee passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023, at his home.

He was born in the Little Lot community of Hickman County and was the son of the late L. C. and Helon Reaves Warf.

He graduated from Hickman County High School, went on to be a glass inspector for the Ford Motor Company, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson.

While he was a longtime Dickson resident and Ford Union retiree, Mr. Warf considered himself a farmer from Little Lot and enjoyed spending time with the people there.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthelma Buckner Warf; daughter, (Helen) Beth Warf, his siblings, Evelyn Warf Parvin and Franklin C. Warf.

Survivors include one daughter; Fran Reed, and one granddaughter; Rachel E. Reed (Dan Altman). He is also survived by one niece; Debra Brenner (Jody), two nephews; David Trotter (Suzanne) and Reed Buckner, and one brother-in-law; Dan Buckner (Bettye).

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, June 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Frank Whitaker will officiate.  Visitation will be on Sunday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Williams Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery. http://taylorsince1909.com

Active casket bearers will be Dan Atlman, Josh Russell, David Trotter, Sam Neely, Reed Buckner and Dennis DeBlock.
